Introduction
This Statement of Privacy applies to KNO - the bot and its derivative products from Alltius Inc such as, but not limited to KNO Help, KNO Concierge and KNO Insider. It also governs data collection and usage from these products. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, Alltius refers to Alltius Inc and its subsidiaries across the world. Unless otherwise noted, all references to KNO allude to KNO - the Slack bot. KNO is an interactive assistant bot that provides answers to general questions. By interacting with the bot, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.
Collection of your personal information
We do not collect any personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. However, you may be required to provide certain personal information to us when you elect to use certain products or services. These may include: (a) registering for an account; (b) sending us an email message; To which, we will use your information for, but not limited to, communicating with you in relation to services and/or products you have requested from us. We may also gather additional personal or non-personal information in the future with your consent.
Use of your personal information
KNO does not collect or use any personal information to provide answers to questions. It is only used to register your account and retain context in a conversation.
Data retention, storage, archiving and removal
We understand the seriousness of the security of your data. The credentials that you use to install KNO on Slack are not accessible to us. The conversations that you have with KNO are stored on our cloud servers. We do this to improve the quality of conversations you have with our app across time and to retain context. We store this data as long as you have chosen to keep your account with us. We use ISO certified cloud based services to store this data. We do not collect any personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily provide it to us e.g. during signup or over email. We may retain this information to continue having effective communications with you. Should you wish to archive or remove your account data or any associated conversational data please email support@alltius.ai.
Sharing information with third parties
KNO does not sell, rent or lease customer data to third parties.
Tracking user behaviour
KNO may keep track of the websites and pages our users visit within KNO, in order to determine what KNO services are the most popular. This data is used to deliver customised content within KNO to customers whose behaviour indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area.
Automatically collected information
Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by KNO. This information can include: your IP address, computer and browser information. This information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the KNO website.
Use of cookies
The KNO website may use "cookies'' to help you personalise your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you. One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. The purpose of a cookie is to tell the Web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if you personalise KNO pages, or register with KNO site or services, a cookie helps KNO to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. This simplifies the process of recording your personal information, such as billing addresses, shipping addresses, and so on. When you return to the same KNO website, the information you previously provided can be retrieved, so you can easily use the KNO features that you customised. You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the KNO services or websites you visit.

We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of any other site that collects personally identifiable information.
Children under the age of 13
KNO does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use KNO.
Connecting your accounts from third-party-services
You will be able to connect your Alltius account to third party accounts. Certain services made available via KNO, Alltius' platform, are delivered by third party sites and organisations. By using any product, service or functionality originating from the Alltius domain, you hereby acknowledge and consent that Alltius may share such information and data with any third party with whom KNO has a contractual relationship to provide the requested product, service or functionality on behalf of Alltius' users and customers.
By connecting your KNO account to your third party account, you acknowledge and agree that you are consenting to the continuous access of information about you to others (in accordance with your privacy settings on those third party sites). If you do not want information about you, including personally identifying information, to be shared in this manner, do not use this feature.
Third party integrations or plugins
You will be able to connect your KNO account to third party accounts as plugins for ingesting data such as documents, issues and web content and for downstream actions such as raising a ticket or arranging callbacks. By connecting your KNO account to your third party account, you acknowledge and agree that you are consenting to Alltius' continuous access to information about you and your application data from the connected apps (in accordance with your privacy settings on those third party apps). If you do not want information about you to be shared in this manner, do not use this feature. If you you have opted for this feature, you can always disconnect these integrations from the web application.
Third party connections disclosures
Google Accounts
Alltius' platform allows you to connect with Google applications such as Google Drive in order to read and interpret documents from your Google Drive. You can make this connection using the integrations feature over secure OAuth protocol and can revoke the connections or permissions any time from within the platform.
The platform may share select text, segments or other content from within your documents with third party large language models (LLMs) or Alltius' own self hosted model to construct a coherent response to a query asked on the platform. We do not seek or share any information about the Google account owner with any third party LLM models or AI applications.
Alltius' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
E-mail communications
From time to time, Alltius may contact you via email for the purpose of providing announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other general communication. In order to improve our Services, we may receive a notification when you open an email from Alltius or click on a link therein. If you would like to stop receiving marketing or promotional communications via email from Alltius, you may opt out of such communications by clicking on the ‘unsubscribe’ link in the email.
External data storage sites
We may store your data on servers provided by third party hosting vendors with whom we have contracted.
Changes to this statement
Alltius reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your account, and/or by updating any privacy information. Your continued use of the website and/or Services available after such modifications will constitute your : (a) acknowledgment of the modified Privacy Policy; and (b) agreement to abide and be bound by that Policy.
