The Chief of Staff will play a pivotal role in supporting our CEO, Vibs, and leadership team in the strategic and operational growth of our B2B SaaS company specialising in generative AI. This role involves understanding the rapidly evolving AI landscape, ensuring our products meet market demands, and driving the company's vision and mission.
What you’ll do
- Strategic Alignment: Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to align on strategic objectives, ensuring that all departments are moving cohesively towards company goals.
- Operational Efficiency: Identify and execute on opportunities to streamline business processes, improve workflows, and enhance overall productivity.
- Project Management: Oversee key projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and effective execution.
- Market Insight: Stay abreast of the latest developments in the B2B SaaS and generative AI sectors, advising the company on potential opportunities and threats.
- Stakeholder Communication: Foster strong relationships with internal teams, investors, partners, and customers, ensuring consistent and clear communication.
- Data Analysis: Utilise data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Team Leadership: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff and lead cross-functional teams on various initiatives.
- Product Oversight: Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to ensure product offerings align with market demand and the company's strategic vision.
- Financial Planning: Work with the Finance team to optimise budget allocation, ensuring resources are effectively utilised.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks to the company, both internally and externally, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
What you’ll need
- 8+ years of experience in the industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
- Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
- Strong understanding of the AI and machine learning landscape.
- Exceptional project management and organisational skills.
- Ability to analyse complex data and derive actionable insights.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority.
